2022 Website Launch Roundup
As we enter a new year, the KDD team is sharing our annual Website Launch Roundup from 2022! The past year was one of our busiest yet, and we are excited to continue expanding our work for a diverse range of clients in the Hudson Valley and beyond.
As a multi-faceted housing and community organization, RUPCO needed to communicate its depth of services to a variety of different audiences. KDD restructured and reorganized the complex website, rethinking the user’s journey and making information quick and easy to find. The site is now approachable and user-friendly thanks to simple navigation, mega-menus, quick links, and a front-and-center question drop-down bar.
KDD has worked with author Brooke Kroeger on many different projects over the years, and the launch of her latest book was an opportune time to redesign her website. KDD built a website that would showcase Brooke’s writing legacy, including her new book, plus years of blogs and content from the old site, in a clearly categorized and meaningful way. The new website is also easy to update, allowing Brooke to quickly add fresh content as she writes it.
With roots in Poughkeepsie, New York, Catharine Street is a reputable non-profit organization that empowers and supports the health and well-being of individuals, children, and families. In recent years, the organization drastically changed its services, and its website no longer reflected its updated programs. KDD rebuilt the website to accurately align with Catharine Street’s expanded offerings and better speak to the community members the organization serves.
Direct mortgage lender Commercial Express needed help to define its brand and speak to both investors and loan customers. KDD designed a clean and simple, well-organized, streamlined website with tailored content and effective messaging that fosters trust and confidence in the brand.
Gateway Hudson Valley
The executives at Gateway Hudson Valley, a non-profit social services organization, needed help transforming how they tell their story. Because Gateway provides support in multiple areas, including integrated vocational, therapeutic, residential, and business services, the organization needed its website to speak to multiple audiences. By rebuilding and reorganizing the website, KDD helped Gateway meet its goals of better reach, awareness, and understanding of the brand. Read the case study here.
New Hope Manor
New Hope Manor is a community that pledges to empower and help treat women making strides toward a life of sobriety. The organization’s old website felt outdated, so KDD built a fresh site that showcases the incredible facilities and support that this organization provides to women and children throughout New York state.
KDD took a fun (dare we say bubbly?) approach when creating Rondout Laundromat’s website. Under new ownership, this Kingston laundromat was fully renovated and rebranded. KDD designed the laundromat’s website to convey its revived look, updated washers and dryers, and convenient laundry services.
Author Ted Conover needed a new website that would streamline the organization of his vast content library. KDD designed Ted’s website to coincide with his latest book launch and featured his published work front and center. The site was also made to be flexible and easy for Ted to update as he publishes new content, including books, blogs, and more.
Launching a new business also requires creating a brand and a website. This was the case for Wine Stitch, a wine industry compliance consulting company. KDD supported Wine Stitch by establishing its brand identity and launching the business with a website that showcases its services to wineries, tasting rooms, and wholesalers. KDD even incorporated the owner’s passion for quilting by using quilt-like patterns in the logo and patterns on the site.
Wraparound Services of the Hudson Valley (WSHV)
Several years ago, Cerebral Palsy of Ulster County rebranded the organization to become Wraparound Services of the Hudson Valley (WSHV). The goal of this rebrand was to better speak to the breadth of support offered, including residential, day hab, and family services, along with a school. The old website felt fragmented and disorganized, so KDD redesigned the site to improve navigation, create an easy user journey, and speak to the many people served by WSHV.
